Adult Education programs are an important weapon of improvement for individuals, groups and community in general.
In this program Northern Uganda women food basket organization has mobilized and raised awareness in the under deserved communities through briefings and information sessions that has promoted and increased awareness among the girls and women on the importance of Adult education
Women who didn’t have the chance to go through the formal Education have been equipped with Literacy, Numeracy and Basic Skills using discussion and group socialization processes that has developed their thinking and built their self-esteem in communities where they have few rights, also has increased their knowledge to participate in decision making in their families community.
Through this program women’s capacities have been increased to be able to organize themselves, improve their skills for generating Activities to increase their own self-reliance.
